General Description :

Quest Acidophilus Plus contains three strains of lactobacilli bacteria to support digestive health. Suitable following a course of antibiotics and during pregnancy. Can help promote bowel regularity and may be chosen after a course of antibiotics, or during exposure to changes in food and water.

Quest Acidophilus Plus releases beneficial bacteria that occur naturally in the human gut. Probiotic bacteria reinforce the intestinal lining as a protective barrier, prevent harmful materials from crossing into the bloodstream, secrete anti-microbial substances and prevent potentially harmful bacteria from establishing in the gut.

Acidophilus Plus provides everyday support for digestive health. Acidophilus Plus is recommended to restore a natural bacterial balance in the gut following antibiotic use or travel and can also be recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding to help support the healthy development of the immune response in the infant.

Directions :

Take one capsule two to four times daily. To best protect the activity and control the effect of gut acid on these "Friendly" bacteria, take with or after food and swallow with water, or with dairy, soy, goat's or rice milk.
